OUR FUNDAMENTAL BELIEFS AND THE MOST IMPORTANT VALUES
Casa Doña Carmela is a pilot project that follows economic development models focused on sustainability and caring for the Environment. Our attention is directed towards the circular economy, Km 0, fair trade and respect for people with the ambition not to produce waste while doing business:
¿What do we do?
Reuse, Recycle, Recover and Reduction are the axes towards on which we direct all actions involving our customers, suppliers and our entire environment. Our environmental awareness is 360º; we have been committed to including this commitment in our business management since our foundation in April 2017.
¿How do we do it?
THE CIRCULAR ECONOMY OF DECORATION AND KNOWLEDGE: ANOTHER LIFE FOR FURNITURE AND BOOKS.
The 95% of all the decoration of the House comes from furniture that already existed; We always bet to take advantage of what exists before buying something new.
A library with almost 1,000 books, in various languages, rescued among our friends and neighbors and that is also enriched every day thanks to our guests who invite them to leave their books when they have finished.
LOCAL PURCHASING: THE ENVIRONMENTAL AND ECONOMIC BENEFITS OF CONSUMPTION AT KM 0
At Casa Doña Carmela we are very involved with our environment: the community, suppliers and the Environment; for this reason we assume and promote more responsible consumption models such as local commerce. Our guests will have the opportunity to taste local products and learn about the artistic work of our craftsman.
We remind you that our mission is to support the local economy. For this reason, we want to offer you the privilege of meeting a selection of local artists, designers and artisans. Following our premise of sustainability and responsibility. All products are unique pieces that come from scrap material.
We also offer you the possibility to visit the studios of our artists in order to have a deeper knowledge about what you are buying.
